If it seems like Republicans sound like a hate group, it is as a result of they sound like a hate group
It’s no surprise that some of the Republicans featured on the report are among the most notorious loudmouths against immigrants in Congress, including Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton, Ariz. Rep. Debbie Lesko and Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn, with everyone already affiliated with hate groups or a history of racist language.
When Cotton passed what was called a legal immigration law during the previous administration, which actually restricted legal immigration to the United States, the Tanton network group FAIR was among those who cheered the legislation, calling it the “law”.the perfect bill. “ Despite its misleading name, the Federation for American Immigration Reform, Much like Cotton, he wants to stop immigration, period. Cotton also lied notoriously that the former White House resident used the arc “Shit Hole Countries” to describe African nations in 2018, claiming he did not remember it. Interesting how Cotton can’t remember what the president said right before him, but he can remember tweets from Biden’s agents.
Blackburn, meanwhile, used the “invasion” terminology to describe immigration on the southern border several times in Facebook ads in 2018, Media Matters reported in 2019. This is the same wording used by the supremacist white terrorist who that year went to El Paso to shoot and kill Mexicans. Blackburn was even more dangerous in their Facebook ads. “In an ad, Blackburn’s Facebook page labeled the caravan an “illegal alien mob marching on our border” and an “invading force that must be stopped,” Media Matters said.
After the massacre in El Paso Walmart, FAIR tried to distance itself from the white supremacist terrorist, even though he and these Tanton network groups “shared similar views about immigrants, ”the Washington Post reported at the time. To prove this point, the head of another Tanton network group, Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, called the White Supremacist Terrorist Manifesto “Remarkably well-written for a 21 year old loner.”
Lazko has “praised” Latinos as “praised” last month “very good workers” (how generous, thank you I think) but basically said we weren’t real Americans and should get on the back of the COVID-19 vaccine line, the Republic of Arizona reported last month. “I’ve worked with people who are Hispanic. I mean they are very good workers,” she said during an in-house hearing. “You know, we’re compassionate people, but for God’s sake we have to take care of American citizens first, or people who are legally here.
“The call to repeat the language of the ‘border crisis’ also appeared in a memo from the House Republican Study Committee urging party members to use the term and blame President Biden,” Willis continued.
Republicans of Congress and other right-wing leaders across the country have spat out this crude rhetoric and despicable fear of the Biden government’s crime of reverting to the US asylum law and allowing families to seek refuge in the United States. The Republicans are launching these attacks even though only a small number of asylum seekers currently involved in handling anti-asylum stays in Mexico have actually been able to return to the US.
Proponents have also condemned the fact that Stephen Miller’s policy of quickly evicting most asylum seekers from alleged pandemic problems persists. Since asylum-seeking children who come to the United States without parents are now excluded from this policy, American phrasebook Frank Sharry states that “Republicans are trying to turn the surge in arrivals of children seeking safety and refuge into a “crisis” in hopes of undermining Biden’s immigration agenda. ”
While the government has announced steps to accelerate the safe release of children to US sponsors, proponents have also criticized the announced reopening of large-scale camps that are not subject to the same licensing standards as smaller facilities. Proponents say that small licensed facilities with trained child care professionals are more appropriate, keeping the time span as short as possible while reaching out and reviewing sponsors. We must always remember that these are children, and we have an obligation and duty to treat them as humanly and compassionately as possible. This shouldn’t be an impossible task for the richest and most powerful nation on earth.
